David Klyde's Great Adventure!

David began his journey with Fund A Future as an Alay Kapwa Scholar at just 12 years old. With consistent support through high school and now as a Marine Engineering student at the University of Cebu, David has demonstrated resilience and a strong work ethic every step of the way.

Now in his final year of study, David is taking part in a rigorous apprenticeship program that blends classroom learning with hands-on training at sea. He has already completed the first six months and has a contract with the shipping company to finish the remaining six-month requirement.

David’s dedication brings him closer to achieving his dream of graduating and starting a career in the Philippine shipping industry. We couldn’t be more proud of how far he’s come and all that he’s accomplished!
